Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

No trip to Uganda would be complete without experiencing the magic of the Bwindi National Forest. The forest sits right on the border of the Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda. Half of the world’s population of the endangered Mountain Gorilla are found here in Uganda and the other half across the borders in the Virunga Mountains. The area is breathtaking and offer a variety of different activities such as, trekking, cultural tours, mountain biking, volcano climbing, canoeing and much more.

Queen Elizabeth National Park

Queen Elizabeth National Park is undoubtedly Uganda’s most famous National Park and a must see. The Park has the widest variety of wildlife of any Ugandan park. This provides the setting for an extensive range of large mammals and primates. Four of the Big five, Leopard, Buffalo, Lion and Elephant, are present and regularly seen, only the Rhino is absent. This is true African Safari Experience.

Lake Kyaninga

Lake Kyaninga; This rare twinned-volcanic crater lake, offers stunning scenery and an abundance of wildlife. This is a prime location for the Black and White Colobus Monkeys, Vervet Monkeys, as well as a wide variety of bird species. And options to visit bat caves. During a stay in the area, you can enjoy guided walks around the beautiful Lake, either around the crater rim to experience amazing views of the valley or through the lush forests and get close to the wildlife. Cultural tours are also available which offers a genuine insight into the daily life in rural Uganda.

The River Nile
